What/who inspired you to get into this field?
I always enjoyed math growing up, so engineering was always something that interested me. I chose biomedical engineering so that I could see my work directly improve the lives of other individuals.
What classes would you recommend for this field (high school and college)?
In high school, I took all the math classes offered, along with physics, chemistry and biology classes. In college, I followed the typical biomedical classes that are offered.
What are some other companies that employ graduates in this field?
All health and medical companies.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
When I go to a hospital and see my company’s products saving lives. The company I work for makes high-quality, cost-effective pharmaceutical products. This allows for more individuals to have access to life-saving products.
