The polygons are similar. Find the value of each variable.

Triangles:

Find x & y:

$\frac{20}{10}=\frac{12}{y}$

$\frac{20y}{20}=\frac{12(10)}{20}$

$y=6$

$\frac{20}{10}=\frac{16}{x}$

$20x=10(16)$

$x=8$

Find x, y, z:

$\frac{20}{10}=\frac{x}{20}$

$\frac{(20)(20)}{10}=\frac{10(x)}{10}$

$x=40$

$\frac{20}{10}=\frac{70}{y}$

$\frac{20y}{20}=\frac{70(10)}{20}$

$y=35$

$\frac{20}{10}=\frac{30}{z}$

$\frac{20z}{20}=\frac{30(10)}{20}$

$z=15$
