Relative and Cumulative Frequency

relative frequency = $\frac{observed\ frequency\ of\ an\ outcome}{total\ observations}$

if you made 6 of 10 free throws, relative frequency = $\frac{6}{10}=0.6$

cumulative frequency – the total of a frequency and all of the frequencies below it in a frequency distribution, “running total” of frequencies
